Furniture delivered!

The 4-piece sectional was delivered today. It was pretty much the smallest one I could find and anything larger would have had difficulty getting down the stairs.

 
 

Projection screen complete

The projection screen is complete. The screen measures 92 inches wide or slightly under 106 inches diagonal and has a 16:9 aspect ratio. The frame is covered in black velvet and the screen is an acoustically transparent material from Seymour AV. The screen was bolted to a wall which is 18 inches away from the basement wall so that the subwoofer can be positioned beneath the screen and the centre channel speaker can be positioned behind.

My house smells like new carpet...

The carpet was installed today. I wasn't sure about the colour when I picked it but it turned out pretty good.

Bar counter tops

The counter tops were installed yesterday and I installed the lights underneath the bar overhang today.

Exercise room foam floor tiles installed

I installed 50 24"x24" interlocking foam tiles on the floor from SoftTiles.com. It only took about two hours to complete the entire 200 square foot area.
